Introducing the Bio-Care™ Solution
Technical Explanations
The sulphide odour associated with sewers is closely related to the degree of grease build-up in the lines. Sulphur-containing chemicals arise from many sources – animals, vegetable and mineral. In the absence of oxygen, certain bacteria convert these compounds to sulphides. Grease build-up in sewage lines creates anoxic conditionsthat stimulate this conversion. The odour of hydrogen sulphide gas is not only unpleasant to smell, but is toxic to humans. Inhalation of this gas in a close environment can cause sickness and even death.
Bio-Care™ product contains bacteria that rapidly oxidizes sulphides and emulsifies and digests grease deposits in the lines. Regular line treatment with this culture prevents further accumulation of fatty deposits.
Benefits of Bio-Care™
Hotels, restaurants and other food providers and traditionally been forced to deal with uncontrolled occurrences reactively. Whenever a stoppage occurrs, their only solution is to call for emergency plumbing service, which caused untimely disruptions to their business. With the three-tiered Bio-Care™ approach, you won't have to worry about "temporary solutions" that don't work or are unsafe. Incidents which can cause business disruptions will be dramatically reduced, giving you tremendous savings in potential business hours lost due to such occurrences.
FIRST TIER: Continual grease control
Bio-Care™'s™ patented formulation naturally digests the grease, fat and oil deposits that have formed on your drain lines, converting them into harmless carbon dioxide and water. A Bio-Care™ Service Technician can install an automated system that will keep organic waste from building up in your drain lines.
SECOND TIER: Scheduled application and inspections

We also provide you with an ongoing written analysis of how effective our programme has been for you, along with recommendations for grease control procedures. All this comes with one affordable monthly fee.
THIRD TIER: A 24-hour-service hotline.
And in the off chance an emergency still occurs, all you have to do is make a call to our 24-hour service hotline. We will promptly attend to your service needs at the earliest opportunity.
Comparisons with normal cleaners

Organic loading (eg. fats, grease, etc.) on drains, grease traps ad septic tanks can result in the reduced operating efficiency of these systems. Restaurants and other food providers have traditionally been forced to deal with the ongoing problems of waste disposal and drain line stoppages reactively.
When a stoppage occurrs, their only solution was to call for emergency plumbing service, which causes untimely kitchen disruptions and downtimes.
Traditional Solution 1: ROUTING
This solution is only temporary because "routing" simply dislodges part of the main obstruction, leaving the drain pipes partially closed. You've solved one problem temporarily - but you've left grease residue in place to create a new one!
Traditional Solution 2: CHEMICAL
Chemical solutions used might be either toxic, corrosive or are unsafe. They also damage plumbing over a period of time, and don't work any better than a "routing". In fact, so damaging are some chemicals to your plumbing system and the environment that they have been banned by the authorities.
